David Wisner began art as a youth and wove it through his life for the next 60+ years. Being fascinated by how things work he began studies at Oregon State University in Electrical Engineering but decided to switch to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree after 2 years. After graduation, however, he took up Digital Engineering technology at Oregon Institute of Technology. Working for IBM after graduation he soon made another change. Having accepted Jesus as his Lord four years earlier he now chose to minister to college students full time. Meeting Robin Wilson, this ministry turned into a military ministry as she had joined the army for a four year stretch. Wedded they lived in Frankfurt, Germany, Fort Hood, Texas and Denver, Colorado. After the military and a Master of Divinity education they ran a hospitality house for military in Bamberg, Germany. With the birth of their second child they moved back to Robin's hometown of Stockton, California. For 27 years he taught in public schools there until retirement when he moved to join his wife in Gilbert, Arizona. In every new place, paintings were done; landscapes, people, nature, architecture. Now he focuses on God and family, art and writing as he enjoys retirement. In this art he wants to honor and proclaim the glory of God. The heavens declare...
