Flat Iron is a large plateau on top of the Superstions. The trail to this area that looks over the whole Phoenix basin is one of the toughest in the region. Up from Lost Dutchman Park through Siphon Draw you ascend steeply. This view, however, is from the other side, the Broadway Trail which goes up to an ancient hut and a cave. The sugaro forest here is one of the most dence I have ever seen.
